For every one moment of positivity and progress it feels like there are 3 negative moments or detractors of progress. It can be difficult to constantly stay optimistic and on your goals day to day.
Lately, as each day passes, I’ve felt further and further from my goals and I couldn’t understand why. I took some time to assess what the core feelings were and some possible solutions to stay inspired even though my tank is on empty.
As the new year starts, I want nothing more than to wipe the slate clean, but 2017 keeps tapping me in the shoulder asking me ‘wyd’ and why haven’t you done x, y, z?

We do not live in a perfect world and it is difficult to maintain a healthy balance of optimism and inspiration. Are you setting these goals because you want to achieve them or because it’s what society says? Instead of dwelling on what you failed at, take a look at what you’ve accomplished.
Perspective. Is the glass half empty or half full? Remind yourself that while you may not be exactly you where you’d thought you’d be, you’re exactly where you ought to be.
